Death Trappers are an antagonist group in the Death Trapper Chronicles and the main antagonists of the Death Trapper Arc. They are a gang of terrorists whose primary motivation is to get revenge on their adversaries who have beaten them in the past. Their main goal is to usurp all four leadership positions in the Mushroom Dimensional Cycle so that they can invade the Multi-Dimensional Road and overthrow the Ruler. They also plan to slaughter every other living being in the Ruler's dimensional cycle.
This group also serves as the main antagonists for both Rise of YouTube and Fall of YouTube. In this series, Xario is revealed to be the one that founded the group.

Death Trapper 1: X[]
The first Death Trapper encountered is the infamous villain of MarioGame2222's movie "Super Mario: Dark Times", X. He is mainly responsible for the X-Virus, which is used to infect other people to do his bidding. He joined the Death Trappers in order to train and to get the Power Armor from MarioGame2222. X was the team scientist and was the rival of MarioGame2222. He fought against the YouTubers many times in "Rise of YouTube", and actually succeeded in getting the Power Armor. He betrayed the Death Trappers by blowing up Mars, and was successful in doing so, but was ultimately killed off by his own bomb when MarioGame2222 held him there against his will. The remains on his X-Virus experiment have been used by EmigasFist to make the Emiga Virus. Ironically, Xario stated that X would have been the next leader if he didn't betray the group.
In the Death Trapper Chronicles now serves as the Death Trapper leader alongside SuperEmiga. For more information, see X.
Martian King[]
The Martian King is the ruler of the Mars Dimension in both "Rise of YouTube" and "Fall of YouTube". He is said to have trained in the Dragon Ball Z Dimension in order to be able to guard Mars. He acts as the last guardian for important areas and is the rival of DragonBallZKai5. He encountered the YouTubers many times in "Rise of YouTube", sometimes as a fake Clawdeender, before fighting with the other Death Trappers in the Crystal King's Last Stand. He returns in "Fall of YouTube" as the builder of the Death Trapper Cut Man robot. Later in the series, he becomes Yuigi's personal spy. For more information, see Martian King.
Death Trapper 3: EmigasFist[]
A YouTuber whose hobbies consist of mocking Starman3, MarioMario54321 and the rest of the YouTube Rangers. He is the ex-ruler of the Death Trappers and is thought to be Starman3's nemesis. He was the second-in-command of the Death Trappers in "Rise of YouTube" before eventually becoming the leader after SuperEmiga left the group. As the Death Trapper leader, he was responsible for the bombing of the Super Mario 64 Dimensional Cycle and the taking over of the Mushroom Kingdom. He was also responsible for the Emiga Virus, an altered version of the X-Virus. EmigasFist seemed to be killed off at the end of "Rise of YouTube", but Starman3 assured that he thought that EmigasFist was still alive.
Indeed, he survived the incident and denied his allegiance to the Death Trappers for a year. He reveals that he still works for the Death Trappers when he finds Fizzy Jam's group in the Star World's Hazy Maze Cave. He was unable to reclaim leadership, but did rejoin after making an advanced version of the Death Trapper called an Alpha Green. After regaining access to the Power Star Dimension, EmigasFist revealed himself to a group of hostages as MarioSuperSoda. He used this alias to sabotage the group. Death Trapper 4: Luke[]
One of the Clawdes who fought in the "War of YouTube" but was first seen in "Rise of YouTube". His true name is Clawdeethan and is one of Clawdeender's elite warriors. He mainly attacks using lightning and is the nemesis of Ethan. He is encountered many times in "Rise of YouTube" before fighting with the other Death Trappers in the Crystal King's Last Stand. He is said to have survived the battle, but hasn't been seen since. For more information, see Luke.
SuperEmiga[]
A YouTuber whose hobbies consist of mocking MarioMario54321, Starman3 and the rest of the YouTube Rangers. He is the ex-ruler of the Death Trappers and is thought to be MarioMario54321's nemesis. He originally was the leader of the Death Trappers in "Rise of YouTube" and was responsible for the clone army. He left the group shortly after he knocked out and cloned MarioMario54321. UltimateZario1[]
As the rival of UltimateHario1, UltimateZario1 only cares about destroying UltimateHario1. He was seen numerous times in "Rise of YouTube" before fighting UltimateHario1 in the void. As punishment for fighting UltimateHario1 instead of helping in the Crystal King's Last Stand, Clawdeender killed UltimateZario1 in "Fall of YouTube". For more information, see UltimateZario1.
Thunder Robot[]
A robot made by Luke which has lighting abilities and encountered Ethan and YoshiFanX outside of Star World Castle in "Rise of YouTube". It was destroyed in battle. For more information, see Thunder Robot.
Death Trapper 7: iJosh63[]
The nemesis of iJosh64 and one of Clawdeender's most trusted allies. He was a regular member in "Rise of YouTube" and took part in the Crystal King's Last Stand. He survived the battle and was sent to the 4th Dimension one year later in "Fall of YouTube." For more information, see iJosh63.
Crystal King[]
Originally one of Bowser's minions encountered in Paper Mario 64, he betrayed the Koopa Troop and joined the Death Trappers. His nemesis is Mario after being defeated by him in Paper Mario 64. He appears many times in "Rise of YouTube" and eventually becomes the new ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. He supposedly died in the Crystal King's Last Stand after his fellow Death Trappers were defeated. However, it is revealed in "Fall of YouTube" that he survived the encounter. Clawdeender[]
The leader of the Clawde army, a group of Blaze robots who fought in the "War of YouTube" and lost. He is one of the only surviving members along with his elite warriors. He attacks mainly using his cloning abilities and Blaze powers and is the nemesis of Schm2000. He first appeared as the new co-leader in "Rise of YouTube" and is ultimately responsible for influencing EmigasFist to bomb the Super Mario 64 Dimensional Cycle. Clawdeender survived the Crystal King's Last Stand and after EmigasFist's demise, he became the new Death Trapper ruler in "Fall of YouTube". For more information, see Clawdeender.
EmigaDylan[]
One of EmigasFist's friends and the supposed nemesis of LuigiFan54321. He worked for the Death Trappers with MarioMario77777 in "Rise of YouTube" before being killed in the Crystal King's Last Stand. For more information, see EmigaDylan.
MarioMario77777[]
One of EmigasFist's friends and the supposed nemesis of MarioStar92. He worked for the Death Trappers with EmigaDylan in "Rise of YouTube" before being killed in the Crystal King's Last Stand. For more information, see MarioMario77777.
Simon's Shadow (The Darkwizard)[]
An unknown entity of darkness who is one of Clawdeender's most trusted allies. The only known thing about him is that he is the nemesis of SimontheOtaku (or Simon). He appeared many times in "Rise of YouTube" before confronting Schm2000's group outside of Peach's Castle before the Crystal King's Last Stand. He and two other Death Trappers manage to make members of Schm2000's group flee or knock them out. He is especially notable for being the only Death Trapper in "Rise of YouTube" who killed any heroes, killing both Simon and Axitonium before supposedly being killed off by the Endermen King. He returns in "Fall of YouTube" and fights a group of people in Whomp's Fortress. For more information, see Simon's Shadow.
Dowser (Unused)[]
Dowser was planned to be a Death Trapper and could be seen as a shadow in the Alternate Episode 9, but was ultimately taken out due to the negative reception that the Alternate Episode 9 got. For more information, see Dowser.
Death Trapper 9: Shadowarrior454[]
A Death Trapper spy who learned everything about the Death Trappers in order to use it against them. He appeared as a soldier who fought Starman3's group before the Crystal King's Last Stand in "Rise of YouTube". He influenced his comrade to let Starman3 go and later kills his comrade. Death Trapper 63: Death Mantis[]
Certainly the strangest of the Death Trapper members and the only one with the ability to break the fourth wall. He is seen as the nemesis of MarioMario761 and calls himself the great practitioner of telepathy and psychokinesis in YouTube. He had a brief appearance in "Rise of YouTube" trying to kill MarioMario761, but was stopped by MarioMario54321. He had a much greater role in "Fall of YouTube" where he ends up terrorizing both the heroes and the viewers and starts to perform actual speech in Episode 4 onwards. Kiddy (Unused)[]
Kiddy was planned to be the new Death Trapper leader in "Rise of YouTube" but was cut from the story. He can be seen in the final "Rise of YouTube" trailer. In "Fall of YouTube" he was brought back, but was not an official Death Trapper member. For more information, see Kiddy.
Xario[]
Originally the person who fought MarioSuperSoda and friends in The Crystal Star, he founded the Death Trappers in order to get revenge. He is given immense power by his spirits located in the Power Star Dimension and oversees all of the Death Trapper's activities. He has a "brother" named Yuigi and is the nemesis of MarioSuperSoda. He appears constantly in "Fall of YouTube" trying multiple times to kill Fares' group using his new powers. He eventually reveals himself as FireMario54321, who attempted to revive himself and became a negative Mario. He then saw how meaningless life was and wanted to cause complete destruction to the universe. His most notorious acts include mind-controlling Matt and Simon, destroying the Death Dimension, and murdering both LuigiLuigi573 and Musthasto with the Omega Laser. For more information, see Xario.
Death Trapper Cut Man[]
A robot made by the Martian King in order to kill the invaders in the Power Star Dimension in "Fall of YouTube". He managed to kill one person before being beaten by Schm2000, Simontheotaku, and iJosh64. He upgraded to Cut Man X and renounced his allegiance to the Death Trappers, instead hailing X as his leader. For more information, see Cut Man X.
Xexon[]
One of the Clawdes who fought in the "War of YouTube" but was first seen in "Fall of YouTube". His true name is Clawdeshad and he is one of Clawdeender's elite warriors. He mainly attacks using dimensional portals and he is Shad's nemesis. He is seen losing a bet to his comrade, Wiz, in "Fall of YouTube" before being told to guard Clawdeender's prisoner. Wiz[]
One of the Clawdes who fought in the "War of YouTube" but was first seen in "Fall of YouTube". His true name is Clawdedalton and he is one of Clawdeender's elite warriors. His powers are yet to be seen, but he is Dalton's nemesis. He is seen winning a bet against his comrade, Xexon, in "Fall of YouTube" before being told to guard Clawdeender's prisoner. Yuigi[]
Originally the main antagonist in the cancelled Yuigi's Dimensional Invasion, he joined Xario in forming the Death Trappers. Like Xario, he is given immense power by the spirits in the Power Star Dimension and helps oversee all of the Death Trapper's activities. He is revealed to be LuigiGame2, who turned into a negative Luigi after Simon expelled him from his new body. Yuigi then realized that only chaos and destruction could truly last forever, and that trying to achieve balance was a waste of time. He is responsible for killing Crownux and taking control of the Multi-Dimensional Road, making him the new ruler of the Death Trappers and the universe. For more information, see Yuigi.

Clone Army[]
An army of murderous clones made by either SuperEmiga, Death Trapper 6, X, or the clones themselves. The army was only able to knock out Mario and make a clone out of him before being destroyed completely. The clones include:
- Schm2000 Clone (Who was killed by MarioMario761 effortlessly.)
- MarioMario761 Clone (Who managed to escape destruction from MarioMario761 but was later killed by MarioGame2222.)
- MarioMario54321 Clone (Who managed to make a clone out of Mario but was killed by MarioGame2222. He is considered to be the clone leader.)
- Thecaptain64000 Clone (Who was killed by MarioGame2222.)
- Mario Clone (The only clone made by another clone before being killed by MarioGame2222.)
- Runner4707 Clone (The last clone, he was killed by MarioMario761.)
Emiga Virus[]
An army of once heroes who are forced to do the Death Trappers' will. This virus is based off the X-Virus, however, unlike the X-Virus, this virus changes the victim's hat, shirt and overall colors to match EmigasFist's. Also unlike the X-Virus, it cannot be transferred through a simple touch. This virus was used to infect people with certain genes, as these genes were strong against Xario's spirits. The infected members include:
- Enzo (Who attempted to find other candidates for the Emiga Virus, fought with Jbro109 and MarioSuperSoda, and protected the Disguise Spirit of Xario from UMario. He later infected Mario. He was eventually cured by MarioSuperSoda.)
- LuigiFan54321 (Who knocked both Lugiaboy2 and LuigiLuigi573 unconscious and threatened to kill Starman3. KirbyRider1337 disguised as him during the incident in the Hazy Maze Cave. He was eventually cured by MarioSuperSoda.)
- SMUS16475 (Who was seen in multiple trailers facing off against DragonBallZKai5 and guarded the Ice Spirit of Xario from DylanDylan54321. He was not cured by MarioSuperSoda as he was assigned to guard Mars.)
- Scatman Luigi (Who killed Sonicfan13 and infected Firemario126. He was eventually cured by MarioSuperSoda.)
- Mario (Who attempted to kill Marigi, but failed. He was eventually cured by MarioSuperSoda.)
- Firemario126 (Who kidnapped Luigi by knocking him into the Void. He was eventually cured by MarioSuperSoda.)
- RoyalOMG (Who attempted to kill ShadowGlobe, but was defeated by MarioMario54321. He battles Fizzy Jam's group later and holds ShadowGlobe hostage. He seems to have a certain hatred towards ShadowGlobe. He was eventually cured by MarioSuperSoda.)
- Pinkolol16 (Who fought Fizzy Jam's group and later holds Jediwarriormike hostage. She was eventually cured by MarioSuperSoda.)
- UltimateHario1 (Who fought Fizzy Jam's group and later holds MarioMario54321 hostage. He was eventually cured by MarioSuperSoda.)
- SuperNimi35 (Who fought Fizzy Jam's group and later holds Fizzy Jam hostage. He was eventually cured by MarioSuperSoda.)
Xario's Spirits[]
A group of spirits that give Xario all of his powers. They are hidden in the Power Star Dimension and each possess a part of Xario's power. When they are killed, Xario loses that power. Spirits include:
- The Disguise Spirit of Xario (Who has the ability of disguise and was guarded by an infected Enzo. He was killed by UMario with the Ruby Star.)
- The Chaos Spirit of Xario (Who has the ability of total destruction and fought Mariofan14 by himself. He won and sent Mariofan14 flying.)
- The Ice Spirit of Xario (Who has the ability of ice and was guarded by an infected SMUS16475. He fought against DylanDylan54321 and appeared to win, but after Marhfg joined in the fight, he was killed by DylanDylan54321 with the Gold Star.)
- The Fire Spirit of Xario (Who has the ability of fire. He was murdered by LuigiLuigi573, who used the last of his strength to kill him.)
- The Resistance Spirit of Xario (Who has the ability of protection. He was murdered by Musthasto, who used the last of his strength to kill him.)
Mind-Controlled People[]
These are the people mind-controlled by Xario or X to do their bidding.
- Mario (He kidnapped several people using voodoo dolls, but was encountered by Schm and CJ9. He was cured after the battle by Captain64000.)
- DragonBallZKai5 (Matt) (He managed to kill MarioSuperSoda, UMario, and Fawn under Xario's control. He attempted to kill Shad, but KirbyRider managed to cure Matt in time.)
- Simontheotaku (He went after MarioSuperSoda's group under Xario's control.)

These are the soldiers of the Death Trapper army. They are completely covered in black, like Simon's Shadow. A more advanced version, the Alpha Green, is entirely covered in light green instead and has 40% more stamina and 50% more attack power. Notable soldiers include:

- Death Trapper 2 (A soldier who confronted Fire Starman3 in the clock room of Peach's Castle in "Rise of YouTube". He was killed in battle.)
- Death Trapper 5 (A soldier who confronted LucarioKiddo and a Power Armored MarioGame2222 in Bob-omb Battlefield in "Rise of YouTube". He was killed in battle.)
- Death Trapper 6 (A soldier who cloned Schm2000 and MarioMario761 in Star Road, poisoned the Star Road river and battled MarioSuperSoda outside of Star World Castle in "Rise of YouTube". He was killed in battle.)
- Death Trapper 8 (A soldier who fought MarioMario761 and MarioMario54321 in Toad Valley in "Rise of YouTube" and was killed in battle. He would later reappeared revived in Fall of Youtube to team up with Alpha Green 1 to attack the YouTubers at Star Road.)
- Death Trapper 10 (Death Trapper 9's comrade who fought against Starman3's group before the Crystal King's Last Stand in "Rise of YouTube". He was killed by his comrade after being convinced to spare Starman3.)
- Death Trapper 11 (A soldier who killed LuigiFan383 and fought Marhfg in Toad Valley in "Fall of YouTube". He was killed in battle.)
- Death Trapper 12 (A soldier who killed LucarioKiddo and CandyMario751 before being ambushed and murdered by Waluigifan32 on Cold, Cold Mountain in "Fall of YouTube".)
- Death Trapper 13 (A soldier in "Fall of YouTube" who attacked Waluigifan32 on Cold, Cold Mountian in revenge for Death Trapper 12's death and ran away. He later fought Zeus Krazy and YoshiFanX in battle after they followed him to Wet-Dry World. He was killed in battle.)
- Alpha Green 1 (An advanced soldier that was shown to Xario in "Fall of YouTube" as a contribution from EmigasFist. He would later appear in Episode 8, teaming up with Death Trapper 8 to attack the YouTubers at Star Road.)
- Death Trapper 14 (A soldier who eavesdropped on Aquablade5's group discussing the Supreme Relies in Fall of YouTube and plans to obtain the relies first while also sending more soldiers after them.)
- Two Death Trappers who invaded Star Road in "Rise of YouTube" but were killed by Starman3.
- Two Death Trappers who helped Simon's Shadow fight Schm2000's group and managed to injure Ethan and knock out YoshiFanX, MarioStar92, iJosh64, Brynn1100, Yoshi Guy and Claude before being killed by Musthasto and the trio of Yoshi Guy, Claude and LucarioKiddo.
- One Death Trapper who was guarding the hallways of Peach's Castle and was seen by Luigi.

These monsters joined the Death Trappers as they were sick of Bowser's constant failure. They can typically be seen inside of the Death Trapper bases and aren't considered to be real members of the Death Trappers (save for the Crystal King).

Mars[]
Mars was the first area shown to be under the Death Trapper's control. It is ruled over by the Martian King who guards the dimension from invaders. It was temporarily destroyed by X in Episode 8 of Rise of Youtube upon his betrayal of Death Trappers.
In Fall of Youtube, Mars is shown to have been reconstructed and is now under increased security as Xexon and Wiz are now guarding the dimension alongside the Martian King. For more information, see Mars.
Special Zone[]
SuperEmiga and EmigasFist are shown to hide within the Special Zone while receive reports on the Death Trapper's activities during Episode 3 and 4 of Rise of Youtube.
The Special Zone reappeared in Episode 2 of Fall of Youtube when the Martian King presented the Death Trapper Cut Man to Clawdeender. For more information, see Special Zone.
Bowser in the Sky[]
Shad and Dalton were held hostage here by EmigasFist in Episode 4 of Rise of Youtube after being kidnapped by SuperEmiga in the previous episode. For more information, see Bowser in the Sky.
Power Star Dimension[]
A dimension created by Fares242 which was taken over by the Death Trappers to serve as their main headquarters. It was previously referred to as SuperEmiga's Dimension, then EmigasFist's Dimension before it's true identity was revealed. For more information, see Power Star Dimension.
Peach's Castle[]
Peach's Castle was taken over by the Death Trappers in Episode 7 of Rise of Youtube where X and the Crystal King set off a bomb in the Mushroom Kingdom, leaving it presumed to have been destroyed. A group of YouTubers later return to the castle in Episode 9 to defeat the Death Trappers within in order to reclaim the dimensions that were taken over. The castle is reclaimed by the YouTubers after they defeat the Crystal King in Episode 10. For more information, see Peach's Castle.
Multi-Dimensional Road[]
The center of the universe which was taken over by Yuigi after he murdered Crownux in Episode 7 of Fall of YouTube. For more information, see Multi-Dimensional Road.
Trivia[]
- The Death Trappers have many similarities to the Blooper Stoppers from Starman3's Super Mario 64 Bloopers:
- Both have soldiers that are usually easy to defeat. This was stated by Starman4 in Episode 2 of Rise of YouTube.
- Their soldiers both use an all black color code for their appearance.
- Both organizations have their soldiers numbered in order of appearance.
- Both have a nemesis of Starman3 that served as the leader of the organization.
- Both organizations have notable members who will disguise themselves as regular soldiers among their first appearances.
- Both groups have a similar goal in mind. While the Blooper Stoppers want revenge for their lost friends in the Dark Star X War, the Death Trappers want revenge for the multiple times each member has been defeated in the past.
- However, there are difference between the two groups as well:
- While the Blooper Stoppers mainly consisted of Dopplegangers, the Death Trappers include a different assortment of villains and Wither Skeletons.
- There is an upgraded version of the Death Trapper called the Alpha Green while there is no upgraded version for the regular Blooper Stopper.
- The actual creator of the Death Trappers is not a nemesis of Starman3, but rather a nemesis of MarioSuperSoda, Xario. Also, not every leader has been a nemesis of Starman3, as Clawdeender was the Death Trapper leader for "Fall of YouTube."
- Some protagonists unwillingly served as part of the Death Trappers as either a mind-controlled victim or an infected warrior. The exceptions to this rule are Xario (FireMario54321) and Yuigi (LuigiGame2), who formed/joined the Death Trappers out of free will.
- While the Blooper Stoppers were relatively harmless villains, save for a few casualties, the Death Trappers have managed to fully kill people. Both Xario and Yuigi were able to destroy the Death Dimension entirely, resulting in no way for anyone to come back from death. Even regular soldiers have managed to kill several different YouTubers.
- The Death Trappers have one primary dimension as a headquarters, while the Blooper Stoppers did not have a main headquarters.
- While the Death Trappers succeeded in taking over the Multi-Dimensional Road and in some of their other plans, the Blooper Stoppers were mostly unsuccessful in their plans.
